Senior Full Stack Web Developer

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Laravel and VueJS Developer! This position is fully remote and open exclusively to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

We’re seeking a skilled and passionate developer to help build the next phase of our platform. Our application is built with Laravel and VueJS, so expertise in these frameworks will be a significant advantage. Additionally, we are in the process of updating our frontend using Tailwind CSS and InertiaJS—experience with these tools is highly desirable.

We maintain our codebase on GitHub, and you’ll collaborate closely with the team through GitHub pull requests and code reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to plan and define the scope of new features.
• Develop new features using modern Laravel, InertiaJS, and VueJS.
• Identify and resolve bugs to improve application functionality.
• Write and maintain unit and acceptance tests.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in Canada.
• Expertise in PHP and JavaScript development.
• Understanding of database principles
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Laravel.
• At least 3 years of experience developing with a reactive JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue.js, React, or Svelte).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with HTML and CSS development.
• Proficiency in writing automated tests.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• A self-motivated attitude and the ability to excel in a remote work environment.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience building web applications with Laravel.
• Familiarity with developing REST APIs.
• UX and design skills to contribute to intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

The Offer

• Competitive Salary. This role offers a salary in the range of $120,000 to $160,000 CAD, depending on your skills and experience.
• Performance-based bonus. Calculated on an annual basis, eligible after your first full year of employment.
• Remote First. We are a fully remote company. We have an all-hands company meet-up a few times a year.
• Location Independent. Work from wherever you feel most productive and happy. Our team members are spread across Canada in cities like Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
