Description
Open-source Web Communication Grid (AAC)
"AsTeRICS Grid is an app for creating a flexible grid system that can be used for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), for Smart Home control and as a webradio or YouTube player.
It can be used as an alternative or in addition to expensive AAC tools and has some unique features like an accessible YouTube player which even expensive software is missing.
AsTeRICS Grid is completely free and open source and is developed as a part of research projects at the UAS Technikum Wien, which are mainly funded by the city of Vienna (MA23).
The UI is made with Vue.js, the backend is built with PouchDB/CouchDB."
