Online Multiplayer Drawing Game
"Depict-it is a fun multiplayer online game of draw and describe for 4-8 players.
It is like a cross between Pictionary and Telephone, where users draw from a prompt and then other players write down what they drew. It ends up with some hilarious chains of drawings and descriptions.
This app is built with Vue and uses Ably's pub/sub messaging platform to build a peer to peer architecture on top of which the game mechanics sit. Vue was perfect to build a componentised, turn based game with if statements and directives.
It is open-source and has a very thorough readme which walks through all of the tech for anyone who'd like to build their own multiplayer game with Vue!"
